The EUROPEAN MEDIA ART FESTIVAL OSNABRÜCK (why am I shouting?) has invited Dave B's "Full Stop Hilltop" to its 18th annual festival in Germany. This year's theme is "Identity" which fits in pretty seamlessly with the film's concept. The EMAF (why am I shouting in acronyms?) is one of the most influential forums of international Media Art. As a meeting point for artists, curators, lenders, gallery owners and an audience of specialists, the festival has had a great impact on the topic and aesthetics of Media Art. The festival takes place from April 23 through the 27th. For more info, check out: EMAF (why am i shouting a hyperlink?)

The Humboldt Brewery is gone. The Los Bagels are stale - and Captain Leon? My God - where is Captain Leon?!? But for all that, we shed no tears (well, I am sad for the loss of Red Nectar from this earth) because Dave B's film "Full Stop Hilltop" is playing at the Humboldt film fest which takes place March 24 - 30, 2008. The Boston International Film Festival has invited Dave B's "Full Stop Hilltop" to its 6th annual outing at the massive AMC/Lowes Theatre megalopolis in downtown Boston. When? Oh - yeah, on Thursday, June 12th at 7:00PM. Don't drive - I'm mean, it's crazy to try to find parking and you'll just drive around and around the Common and the Gardens and then if you accidentally head up into Beacon Hill it's just a mess - a rats' warren - literally. So take the T - I mean, you can get off at Park or Beacon on the Green Line - two stops within walking distance. Crazy. Here's the link for more info: Boston International Film Fest
